This was interesting

So, as might be expected, in our cultural diversity class we were talking about discrimination and prejudice and how bias operates on a subconscious level based on internalized perceptions. Of course, that means there difficulty in telling if someone has an internal bias because 1) society tells us racism is bad 2) we don't think of ourselves as bad 3) we may be unaware of someof our biases. So, basically these guys came up with a way to measure all this bias using an implicit association test, which basically calculates how loosely/ closely linked certain concepts are in your brain. I thought it was pretty cool. there are a few tests they created and i thought you might have fun taking some of these.

Your data suggest a strong automatic preference for Fat People compared to Thin People.

Funny, it was strong. I had the hardest time pressing things like 'joy' on the thin person side. I guess I think really thin people are evil and malicious.

I did the science one too, it made me mad at myself. Moderate association, men with science and woman with arts as opposed to the other way around. And it was true. Cool tests.

yes, reality based association. however, attitudinally you fight the status quo and are a bucker of trends. A bucking bronco really. [warning saucy comment is imminent] You are one 8 second ride no conventional cowboy could survive.

Yes. An eight-second ride. Hmmmm. I don't really know what to say. Conventional cowboy. I think we should call all men cowboys. Like, 'Mary, say no to that one, that's an old cowboy!' or 'Hey there cowboy.' Or, 'Naomi, you spend all your time in a sea of cowboys doing physics. Of course you think cowboys are more likely to be in the sciences.'
